Highway Tabernacle has a long-standing tradition of reaching out to the whole world with the Gospel through our World Missions Program. We have joined in partnership with nearly 200 missionaries at home and abroad, as well as with other ministries, in spreading the Good News.
Our Nehemiah Project is another special missions endeavor where we take teams of men and women to Sierra Leone, West Africa to build tabernacles and provide health care education and teacher training to the desperately poor villages in this war-torn country.
This year we were invited to send a team to Turkey to minister to the missionary children of Eurasia. We were able to provide a special retreat to meet the unique needs of children living in a foreign land. |

On June 15, 2008 our team departed for Antayla, Turkey to minister to the missionary children of Eurasia for a week-long retreat. We held services and a special kid’s camp each day which included music, skits, games, bible lessons, and relationship building experiences to connect kids to fellow missionary kids. This was also a wonderful opportunity to bring a time of refreshing to children who are often immersed in a culture very different from their own. |
